Come Dine With Me

Who knew that the Come Dine With Me concept would be so popular and start a storm of home-grown competitions here in the UAE?  Thanks to Ginger and Scotch for planting the seed of inspiration (scroll down for links to peek inside her friend’s houses).   Five of us started off meeting every lunchtime on a Saturday.  Sadly one of us couldn’t make it to the end for personal reasons – we loved every minute and every lunch!  Read on to Come Dine With Us.  Irresistable if you enjoy eavesdropping on the conversations (and peering into cupboards).

It was just a one off that we did with friends. All you have to do is get a few people together, agree when you are going to cook and what the rules are and go for it. Highly recommended , it was great fun.

    Hi Sally,
Came across your site and wanted to know if you are still in town? Please send me your contact details so we can communicate directly. We are communication consultants to Park Central Deli & Foodstore on the SZR and your thinking smacks of theirs. Perhaps these synergies can be put to good use?

    All the best,

    Hi Sally

Yasmin C, founder of Lovedesh, here. Perhaps the only brand that is proud of and sticks up for Third World countries.

It was a pleasure meeting you at FBC5.

I loved the pics you took of my daughter’s chalk drawing enticing people to taste my Lovedesh Slow Artisan Wood Fired Curry™ from Bangladesh.

Can you email me – was gong to ask about the photos you took. They seem some great shots and might come in handy.

And I will take it as a compliment, you called me ‘mad” or ‘brave”. 😉 Glad you thought the curry was worth waiting for.

    Thanks

    Yasmin C
